These were Davids sons who were born to him in Hebron:

Also Jonathan David's uncle was a counseller, a wise man, and a scribe: and Jehiel the son of Hachmoni was with the king's sons:

They ate and drank with great joy in the Lords presence that day.

Then, for a second time, they made Davids son Solomon king; they anointed him as the Lords ruler, and Zadok as the priest.

They crowned David's son Solomon king a second time and anointed him to serve as Commander-in-Chief to the LORD and Zadok to serve as priest. So Solomon sat on the throne of the LORD as king in the place of his father David. He prospered, and all of Israel obeyed him.

All the leaders and the mighty men, and all of King Davids sons as well, pledged their allegiance to King Solomon.
