but not as the fall so also is the gift; for if by the fall of one the many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by grace which is of the one man Jesus Christ, abounded to the many;

For you see your calling, brothers, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble [are called];

Are they ministers of Christ? I speak foolishly, I am more; in labors most abundant, in stripes above measure, in imprisonments most abundant, in deaths often;

And the voice of harpers and singers and of those that play on flutes and trumpets shall be heard in you no more. And no artisan of any art shall be found in you any more, and the sound of a mill shall be heard in you no more,

From this time many of his disciples went away from following him, and walked no more with him.

And many of the multitude believed on him, and said, When the Christ comes will he perform more miracles than this man has performed?

And many more believed on account of his word,

For impure spirits came out of many who had them, crying with a loud voice; and many paralytics and lame persons were cured;

grieving most of all for the word which he said, that they should see his face no more. And they accompanied him to the ship.

For as many as have sinned without the law shall perish without the law, and as many as have sinned with the law shall be judged by the law,??13 for not the hearers of the law are righteous with God, but the doers of the law shall be justified;

as it is written, I have made you a father of many nations before God in whom he believed, who makes the dead alive and calls things which do not exist as existing.??18 who against hope believed in hope that he should become a father of many nations according to the saying shall your posterity be.

for as through the disobedience of the one man the many were constituted sinners, so also through the obedience of the one shall the many be constituted righteous.

Afterwards he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at once, of whom the most continue even to the present time, but some have fallen asleep.

you also striving together for us in prayer, that thanks may be rendered for us by many persons for the gift bestowed on us by many.

For even if there are those called Gods, whether in heaven or on earth, as there are many gods and many lords,

For as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body being many are one body, so also is Christ;

and those which we esteem to be less honorable members of the body, on these we bestow more abundant honor, and our uncomely members have more abundant comeliness,

And we have sent with them our brother, whom we have often proved in many services to be diligent, and who is now much more diligent from the great confidence in you.

And I most gladly will spend and will be spent for your souls, even if the more abundantly I love you the less I am loved.

and was a proficient in Judaism beyond many of my age among my people, being more exceedingly zealous for the traditions of my fathers.

And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all understanding,

and many of the brothers having been made confident by my bonds in the Lord have more abundant courage to speak the word without fear.

GOD, who at many times and in many ways spoke anciently to the fathers by the prophets,

For this man is judged worthy of more glory than Moses, as much as he has more honor than the house [tabernacle] which he built.

And they shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more, neither shall the sun strike them nor any heat,

and the light of a candle shall shine in you no more, and the voice of a bridegroom and of a bride shall be heard in you no more, for your merchants were the great ones of the earth, for all nations were deceived by your magic arts,

and he will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, nor shall lamentation nor crying nor pain be any more, for the former things have passed away.

And in that hour he cured many of diseases, and plagues, and of evil spirits, and gave sight to many blind.

But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore, for you are of more value than many sparrows.

and I will say to my soul, Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years rest, eat, drink, and enjoy yourself.
