And going on from thence, he saw other two brethren, G2385 the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and he called them.

Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; G2385 the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;

Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; G2385 the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus;

Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, G2385, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?

And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, G2385, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,

Among which was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of G2385 and Joses, and the mother of Zebedee's children.
