And Pharaoh's servants said unto him, How long shall this man be a H4170 unto us? let the men go, that they may serve the LORD their God: knowest thou not yet that Egypt is destroyed?

They shall not dwell in thy land, lest they make thee sin against me: for if thou serve their gods, it will surely be a H4170 unto thee.

Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a H4170 in the midst of thee:

And thou shalt consume all the people which the LORD thy God shall deliver thee; thine eye shall have no pity upon them: neither shalt thou serve their gods; for that will be a H4170 unto thee.

Know for a certainty that the LORD your God will no more drive out any of these nations from before you; but they shall be H4170s and H4170s unto you, and scourges in your sides, and thorns in your eyes, until ye perish from off this good land which the LORD your God hath given you.

Wherefore I also said, I will not drive them out from before you; but they shall be as thorns in your sides, and their gods shall be a H4170 unto you.

And Gideon made an ephod thereof, and put it in his city, even in Ophrah: and all Israel went thither a whoring after it: which thing became a H4170 unto Gideon, and to his house.

And Saul said, I will give him her, that she may be a H4170 to him, and that the hand of the Philistines may be against him. Wherefore Saul said to David, Thou shalt this day be my son in law in the one of the twain.

The sorrows of hell compassed me about; the H4170s of death prevented me;

That the hypocrite reign not, lest the people be H4170.
