And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the congregation ; but if he neglects to hear the congregation, let him be unto thee as a worldly man and a publican.

For first of all, when ye come together in the congregation , I hear that there are divisions among you; and I partly believe it.

yet in the congregation I would rather speak five words with my understanding, that I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue.

But if there is no interpreter, let him keep silence in the congregation , and let him speak to himself and to God.

For God is not the God of disorder, but of peace, as in all the congregations of the saints. Let your women keep silence in the congregations , for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be in subjection, as also saith the law.

For I am the least of the apostles, for I am not worthy to be called an apostle because I persecuted the congregation of God. But by the grace of God I am what I am; and his grace towards me was not in vain, for I laboured more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

of which I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the operation of his power. Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of the Christ

For thou shalt be his witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard. And now why tarriest thou? Arise and be baptized and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord. read more.
And it came to pass that, when I was come again to Jerusalem, even while I prayed in the temple, I was in a rapture of understanding and saw him saying unto me, Make haste and go quickly out of Jerusalem, for they will not receive thy testimony concerning me. And I said, Lord, they know that I imprisoned and in every synagogue beat those that believed on thee; and when the blood of thy martyr Stephen was shed, I also was standing by and consenting unto his death and kept the raiment of those that slew him. And he said unto me, Depart, for I will send thee far from here unto the Gentiles.

But rise and stand upon thy feet, for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen and of those things in which I will appear unto thee; delivering thee from the people and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee to open their eyes and to turn them from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive remission of sins and inheritance among those who are sanctified by the faith that is in me.

Am I not an apostle? Am I not free? Have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord? Are not ye my work in the Lord? If I am not an apostle unto others, yet doubtless I am to you, for you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord.

For I am the least of the apostles, for I am not worthy to be called an apostle because I persecuted the congregation of God.
