And likewise also the Spirit helps our weaknesses, for we know not what we would pray for as we ought, but the Spirit itself intercedes for us with inexpressible groanings. And he who searches the hearts knows what is the mentality of the Spirit, because he appeals to God for the sanctified. And we have such confidence toward God through Christ, not that we are sufficient of ourselves to reckon anything as from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God, who also made us qualified helpers of a new covenant, not of a document, but of a spirit, for the document kills but the spirit makes alive.
