"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you--not as the world gives, I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let [them] be afraid. You have heard that I said to you, 'I am going away, and I am coming to you.' If you loved me, you would have rejoiced that I am going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I [am].

Now I praise you that you remember me [in] all [things], and just as I handed over to you the traditions, you hold fast to [them]. But I want you to know that Christ is the head of every man, and the man [is the] head of the woman, and [the] head of Christ [is] God.
But whenever all [things] are subjected to him, then the Son himself will be subjected to the one who subjected all [things] to him, in order that God may be all in all.

Now we do speak wisdom among the mature, but wisdom not of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are perishing,
For the message about the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written, "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the intelligence of the intelligent I will confound." Where [is] the wise person? Where [is] the scribe? Where [is] the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?
Let no one deceive himself. If anyone thinks [himself] to be wise among you in this age, let him become a fool, in order that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God, for it is written, "The one who catches the wise in their craftiness," and again, "The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile." read more.
