Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye have had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning. The night is past, and the day is come; let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us clothe ourselves with the weapons of light.
But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness be born, and in his wings he shall bring saving health; and ye shall go forth and jump like calves of the herd.
We have also the most sure word of the prophets, unto which ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your hearts,
through the bowels of mercy of our God, whereby the dayspring from on high has visited us
Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
The watchman said, The morning comes and then the night; if ye will enquire, enquire ye; return, and come.
