I have written these things to you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may believe on the name of the Son of God. And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask any thing according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.

I have written these things to you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may believe on the name of the Son of God. Jesus answered and said to them: Verily I say to you, If you have faith, and doubt not, you shall do, not only what is done to the fig-tree, but even if you shall say to this mountain, Be taken up, and be thrown into the sea, it shall be done. And all things that you ask for in prayer, believing, you shall receive.

And I say to you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you. For every one that asks, receives; and he that seeks, finds; and to him that knocks, it shall be opened.

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you. For every one that asks, receives; and he that seeks, finds; and to him that knocks, it shall be opened.

For, verily I say to you, that whoever will say to this mountain, Be removed, and be cast into the sea, and will not doubt in his heart, but believe that what he says will come to pass, he shall have whatever he says. For this reason I say to you: All things that you ask for in prayer, believe that you will receive them, and they shall be yours.

Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, we have confidence to ward God, and whatever we ask, we receive from him, because we keep his commandments, and do the things that are pleasing in his sight.
