He has made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion. He has given food unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant. He has shown his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the nations. read more.
The works of his hands are truth and justice; all his commandments are sure. They stand fast forever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness.

[Lamed] Forever, O LORD, your word is settled in heaven. Your faithfulness is unto all generations: you have established the earth, and it abides. They continue this day according to your ordinances: for all are your servants. read more.
Unless your law had been my delights, I should then have perished in my affliction. I will never forget your precepts: for with them you have revived me. I am yours, save me; for I have sought your precepts. The wicked have waited for me to destroy me: but I will consider your testimonies. I have seen a limit to all perfection: but your commandment is exceedingly broad.

For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father who sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all your commandments.

How excellent is your lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of your wings.

That you may love the LORD your God, and that you may obey his voice, and that you may cleave unto him: for he is your life, and the length of your days: that you may dwell in the land which the LORD swore unto your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all your commandments.

And these words, which I command you this day, shall be in your heart:

Therefore shall you keep all the commandments which I command you this day, that you may be strong, and go in and possess the land, wherever you go to possess it;

But he answered and said unto them, Why do you also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?
