And those whom he predestined, he also called; and those whom he called, he also justified; and those whom he justified he also glorified.




You know very well that we treated each of you the way a father treats his children. We comforted and encouraged you, urging you to live in a manner worthy of God, who calls you into his kingdom and glory.

At all times we are obligated to thank God for you, brothers who are loved by the Lord, because God chose you to be the first fruits for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and through faith in the truth. With this purpose in mind, he called you through our proclamation of the gospel so that you would obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah.


Therefore, holy brothers, partners in a heavenly calling, keep your focus on Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession. He was faithful to the one who appointed him, just as Moses was in all God's household,

Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, "Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as they did when they provoked me during the time of testing in the wilderness.





For it is only right for me to think this way about all of you, because you're constantly on my mind. Both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, all of you are partners with me in this privilege.

We always thank God for all of you when we mention you in our prayers. In the presence of our God and Father, we constantly remember how your faith is active, your love is hard at work, and your hope in our Lord Jesus the Messiah is enduring. Brothers whom God loves, we know that he has chosen you,
