Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believes shall not make haste.
Therefore, whosoever hears these words of mine and does them, I will liken him unto a prudent man, who built his house upon the rock;
and are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone,
For no one can lay another foundation than that laid, which is Jesus the Christ.
O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will cement thy stones upon carbuncle and lay thy foundations upon sapphires.
