And Jesus said, For judgment came I into this world, that they that see not may see; and that they that see may become blind.


to open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the dungeon, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison-house.

The poor man and the oppressor meet together; Jehovah lighteneth the eyes of them both.

The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but Jehovah will be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.

For thou wilt light my lamp: Jehovah my God will lighten my darkness.

Seeing it is God, that said, Light shall shine out of darkness, who shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God, and not from ourselves;
