Then all the people of Judah took Azariah, who was sixteen years old, and made him king in place of his father Amaziah. He was the builder of Elath, which he got back for Judah after the death of the king.

Azariah son of Amaziah became king of Judah. This was in the twenty-seventh year of the rule of Jeroboam, king of Israel. Azariah was sixteen years old when he became king.
