Then he called the saints and widows and presented her alive. This became known throughout all Joppa, and many believed in the Lord.


I know your works as well as your labor and steadfast endurance, and that you cannot tolerate evil. You have even put to the test those who refer to themselves as apostles (but are not), and have discovered that they are false.


For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.'


Please remember me for this, O my God, and do not wipe out the kindness that I have done for the temple of my God and for its services!
