The man departed, and announced to the Jews that it is Jesus having made him well. And therefore the Jews drove out Jesus, and sought to kill him, because he did these in the sabbath. And Jesus answered, My Father works till now, and I work. read more.

And they observed narrowly the gates day, and also night, that they might kill him. And the disciples having taken him by night, put through the wall, having let down in a wicker basket. And Saul being present in Jerusalem, tried to join himself to the disciples: and they were all afraid of him, not believing that he is a disciple.
