Fruit trees » Care for
When you shall besiege a city a long time, in making war against it to take it, you shall not destroy its trees by wielding an axe against them; for you may eat of them, and you shall not cut them down; for is the tree of the field man, that it should be besieged of you? Only the trees of which you know that they are not trees for food, you shall destroy and cut them down; and you shall build siege works against the city that makes war with you, until it fall.
The poor » Care for » Is characteristic of saints
He has dispersed, he has given to the poor. His righteousness endures forever. His horn will be exalted with honor.
As it is written, "He has scattered abroad, he has given to the poor. His righteousness remains forever."
The righteous care about justice for the poor. The wicked aren't concerned about knowledge.

But as you abound in everything, in faith, utterance, knowledge, all earnestness, and in the love from us that is in you, see that you also abound in this grace. I speak not by way of commandment, but as proving through the earnestness of others the sincerity also of your love.
