He who comes from above is above all. He who has his origin in the earth is of the earth, and speaks as of the earth. He who comes out of heaven is above all,
Ye call me the Teacher and the Lord, and ye say well, for I am so.
Let the whole house of Israel therefore know assuredly that God has made him, this Jesus whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
For to this end Christ has died and lived again, that he might rule over both dead and living.
And he is the head of the body, the assembly; who is the beginning, firstborn from among the dead, that he might have the first place in all things:
taking a place by so much better than the angels, as he inherits a name more excellent than they.
For he has been counted worthy of greater glory than Moses, by how much he that has built it has more honour than the house.
