Then He said to His disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray to the Lord of the harvest that He will send out laborers into His harvest.

But I exhort you, brothers, for the sake of the Lord Jesus Christ and for the love of the Spirit, that you strive together with me in your prayers to God for me, that I may be delivered from those disbelieving in Judea, and that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be accepted by the saints; so that I may come to you with joy by the will of God, and may be refreshed with you.


praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching to this very thing with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. And pray for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in bonds; so that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,

Continue in prayer and watch in it with thanksgiving, praying together about us also, that God may open to us a door of the Word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I also have been bound, that I may make it clear, as I ought to speak.


Finally, my brothers, pray for us, that the Word of the Lord may have free course and be glorified, even as it also is with you. And pray that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men; for all do not have the faith.

But at once prepare lodging for me, for I hope that through your prayers I shall be given to you.

Pray for us; for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly. But I beseech you the rather to do this, so that I may be more quickly restored to you.

Be watchful and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die. For I have not found your works being fulfilled before God.
