In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of the seed of the Medes, who was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans,
And Darius the Mede received the kingdom, being about threescore and two years old. It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom a hundred and twenty satraps, who should be throughout the whole kingdom;
