Therefore, as sin entered into the world through one man, and death through sin; and so death passed to all men, because all sinned.

The LORD said to Moses, "Go up into this mountain of Abarim, and see the land which I have given to the children of Israel. When you have seen it, you also shall be gathered to your people, as Aaron your brother was gathered; because you rebelled against my word in the wilderness of Zin, in the strife of the congregation, to sanctify me at the waters before their eyes." (These are the waters of Meribah of Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin.)
Also the LORD was angry with me for your sakes, saying, "You also shall not go in there:
I begged the LORD at that time, saying, "Lord GOD, you have begun to show your servant your greatness, and your strong hand: for what god is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to your works, and according to your mighty acts?
