And now give me this mountain, of which Jehovah spoke in that day; for thou heardest in that day that Anakim are there, and great fortified cities. If so be Jehovah shall be with me, then I shall dispossess them, as Jehovah said.
And it came to pass when Joshua and the children of Israel had ended smiting them with a very great slaughter, until they were consumed, that the remnant which remained of them entered into fortified cities;
And he built upper Beth-Horon and lower Beth-Horon, fortified cities, with walls, gates, and bars;
And their father had given them great gifts of silver and of gold and of precious things, besides fortified cities in Judah; but the kingdom he gave to Jehoram, for he was the firstborn.

and Zorah, and Ajalon, and Hebron, which are in Judah and in Benjamin, fortified cities. for I shall die in this land, I shall not go over the Jordan; but ye shall go over, and possess this good land.
