For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.


Thus saith the LORD, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages:

Then David put garrisons in Syria of Damascus: and the Syrians became servants to David, and brought gifts. And the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went.

And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.

For the LORD our God, he it is that brought us, and our fathers, out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and who did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way in which we went, and among all the people through whom we passed:






Ye have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles' wings, and brought you to myself.


They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath held me up and thy gentleness hath made me great.

And in the wilderness, where thou hast seen how the LORD thy God bore thee, as a man doth bear his son, in all the way that ye went, until ye came into this place.

For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholdeth the righteous.

And as for me, thou upholdest me in my integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever.


He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

As the apple-tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among the sons. I sat down under his shadow with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste.

To the chief Musician, Al-taschith, Michtam of David, when he fled from Saul in the cave. Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yes, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities are overpast.

Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.




Who provideth for the raven his food? when his young ones cry to God, they wander for want of food.


He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.




And they all ate, and were satisfied: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.

Bring ye all the tithes into the store-house, that there may be food in my house, and prove me now with this, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Give, and it shall be given to you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye give to others, it shall be measured to you again.

And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil.



Now to him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,





The LORD hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.

(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.


They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes.

Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!

For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, besides thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.

And the LORD God prepared a gourd, and made it to come up over Jonah, that it might be a shade over his head, to deliver him from his grief. So Jonah was exceeding glad of the gourd.











And sent his servant at supper-time, to say to them that were invited, Come, for all things are now ready.

Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;


As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings;

And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a cleft of the rock: and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:


And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spoke by Elijah.

And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook.





For thou hast been a defense to the poor, a defense to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.

And a man shall be as a hiding-place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as streams of water in a dry place, as the shade of a great rock in a weary land.




For the LORD thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand: he knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness: these forty years the LORD thy God hath been with thee: thou hast lacked nothing.


And they all ate, and were satisfied: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.




Again, he sent other servants, saying, Tell them who are invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come to the marriage.


And it came to pass in the morning, when the meat-offering was offered, that behold, there came water by the way of Edom, and the country was filled with water.


And he looked, and behold, there was a cake baked on the coals, and a cruse of water at his head. And he ate and drank, and laid himself down again.


And I have put my words in thy mouth, and have covered thee in the shade of my hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say to Zion, Thou art my people.


And when these lepers came to the uttermost part of the camp, they went into one tent, and ate and drank, and carried thence silver, and gold, and raiment, and went and hid it; and came again, and entered into another tent, and carried thence also, and went and hid it.


And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said to her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed.


Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
