Be you not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, else they come not near unto you.
Nevertheless man being in honor abides not: he is like the beasts that perish.
I said in my heart concerning the condition of the sons of men, that God might reveal them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts. For that which befalls the sons of men befalls beasts; the same thing befalls them: as the one dies, so dies the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man has no advantage over a beast: for all is vanity.
