Appetites » The power of appetite
How we remember the fish that we used to eat in Egypt for free! And the cucumbers, melons, leeks, onions, and garlic!
The positive words that a man speaks fill his stomach; he will be satisfied with what his lips produce.
Put a knife to your own throat, if you have a big appetite.
"They struck me," you will say, "but I never felt it. They beat me, but I never knew it When will I wake up? I want another drink."
Every person works for his own self-interests, but his desires remain unsatisfied.
as when a hungry man dreams he eats, but wakes up still hungry; or when a thirsty man dreams he drinks, but wakes up faint, with his thirst unquenched. So will it be with the hordes of all the nations that fight against Mount Zion.
""Come!' they say, "let's have some wine, and let's fill ourselves with strong drink! Then, tomorrow will be like today, or even much better!'"
