Be not overly wicked, neither be foolish: why should you die before your time?
But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becomes saints; Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not fitting: but rather giving of thanks.
The wicked » Cut off
But you, O God, shall bring them down into the pit of destruction: bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days; but I will trust in you.
For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.
The fear of the LORD prolongs days: but the years of the wicked shall be shortened.
Be not overly wicked, neither be foolish: why should you die before your time?
Yea, they shall not be planted; yea, they shall not be sown: yea, their stock shall not take root in the earth: and he shall also blow upon them, and they shall wither, and the whirlwind shall take them away as stubble.
But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.
