Ephesians 2:1 (show verse)

You also did He make alive, when ye were dead in your trespasses and sins,

Ephesians 2:2 (show verse)

in which ye once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the authority of the air, the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience;

Ephesians 2:3 (show verse)

among whom we also all once lived in the desires of our flesh, doing the will of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest;

Ephesians 2:4 (show verse)

but God, being rich in mercy, on account of His great love wherewith He loved us,

Ephesians 2:5 (show verse)

even when we were dead in our offenses, made us alive with Christ (by grace ye have been saved),

Ephesians 2:6 (show verse)

and raised us up with Him, and made us sit with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus;

Ephesians 2:7 (show verse)

that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 2:8 (show verse)

For by grace ye have been saved through faith: and this, not of yourselves, it is the gift of God:

Ephesians 2:9 (show verse)

not of works, lest any one should boast;

Ephesians 2:10 (show verse)

for we are His workmanship, having been created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God before prepared, that we should walk in them.

Ephesians 2:11 (show verse)

Wherefore, remember that ye, the gentiles in flesh, who are called uncircumcision by that which is called circumcision in flesh made by hand,

Ephesians 2:12 (show verse)

that at that time ye were apart from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world.

But now, in Christ Jesus, ye who were once afar off were made nigh in the blood of Christ.

Ephesians 2:14 (show verse)

For He is our peace, Who made both one, and broke down the middle wall of the partition,

Ephesians 2:15 (show verse)

having abolished in His flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments expressed in decrees, that He might make the two one new man in Himself, making peace,

Ephesians 2:16 (show verse)

and might reconcile both in one body to God through the cross, having slain the enmity thereby;

Ephesians 2:17 (show verse)

and, coming, He proclaimed the Gospel of peace to you who were afar off, and peace to those who were near;

Ephesians 2:18 (show verse)

because through Him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father.

Ephesians 2:19 (show verse)

Accordingly, therefore, ye are no longer strangers and sojourners; but ye are fellow-citizens of the saints and of the house-hold of God;

Ephesians 2:20 (show verse)

having been built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the chief corner-stone;

Ephesians 2:21 (show verse)

in Whom all the building, fitly framed together, is growing up into a holy temple in the Lord;

Ephesians 2:22 (show verse)

in Whom ye also are being built together for a habitation of God in the Spirit.
