but we see Jesus, who was made some little inferior to angels on account of the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; so that by the grace of God he should taste death for every thing.
But as fellow-workmen, we also beseech that ye receive not the grace of God in vain:
of which I am become minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me, according to the working of his power.
But he gives more grace. Wherefore he says, God sets himself against the proud, but gives grace to the lowly.
I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness is by law, then Christ has died for nothing.

But this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit God's kingdom, nor does corruption inherit incorruptibility. Where, O death, is thy sting? where, O death, thy victory? Now the sting of death is sin, and the power of sin the law; but thanks to God, who gives us the victory by our Lord Jesus Christ.
For this corruptible must needs put on incorruptibility, and this mortal put on immortality. The secret of Jehovah is with them that fear him, that he may make known his covenant to them.

But we speak God's wisdom in a mystery, that hidden wisdom which God had predetermined before the ages for our glory: which none of the princes of this age knew, (for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory;)
