Ephesians 6:1

Children, obey your parents in the Lord; for this is right.

Ephesians 6:2

"Honor your father and mother" (which, indeed, is the first commandment with a promise),

Ephesians 6:3

"that it may be well with you, and that you may live long on the earth."

Ephesians 6:4

And, fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and admonition of the Lord.

Ephesians 6:5

Servants, obey your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as to Christ;

Ephesians 6:6

not with eye-service, as men-pleasers, but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the soul,

Ephesians 6:7

with good-will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men;

Ephesians 6:8

knowing that whatsoever good thing each one does, this shall he receive from the Lord, whether bond or free.

Ephesians 6:9

And, masters, do the same thing to them, forbearing the threat; knowing that both their Master and yours is in Heaven, and there is no respect of persons with Him.

Ephesians 6:10

Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of His might.

Ephesians 6:11

Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the Devil;

Ephesians 6:12

because to us the struggle is not against blood and flesh, but against the principalities, against the authorities, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.

Ephesians 6:13

On this account, take up the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day; and, having fully accomplished all, to stand.

Ephesians 6:14

Stand, therefore, having girded your loins about with truth, and having put on the breast-plate of righteousness,

Ephesians 6:15

and having shod your feet with the preparation of the Gospel of peace;

Ephesians 6:16

withal having taken up the shield of faith, with which ye will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one.

Ephesians 6:17

And receive the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Ephesians 6:18

with all prayer and supplication praying at every opportunity in the Spirit, and watching thereunto in all perseverance and supplication for all the saints;

Ephesians 6:19

and on my behalf that utterance may be given to me, in opening my mouth to make known with boldness the mystery of the Gospel,

Ephesians 6:20

for which I am an ambassador in chains, that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

Ephesians 6:21

But, that ye also may know my affairs, what I am doing, Tychicus, the beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, will make all things known to you;

Ephesians 6:22

whom I sent to you for this very purpose, that ye may know our affairs, and that he may encourage your hearts.

Ephesians 6:23

Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 6:24

Grace be with all who love our Lord Jesus Christ in incorruptness.
