And they met Moses and Aaron, who stood in the way, as they came forth from Pharaoh, and they said to them, LORD look upon you, and judge, because ye have made our fragrance to be abhorred in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to slay us.
And the whole congregation of the sons of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron in the wilderness. But on the morrow all the congregation of the sons of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, saying, Ye have killed the people of LORD.
And there was no water for the congregation, and they assembled themselves together against Moses and against Aaron.
They also envied Moses in the camp, [and] Aaron the sanctified of LORD.

According to the number of your persons, ye shall take it, every man for those who are in his tent. And the sons of Israel did so, and gathered, some more, some less. And when they measured it with an omer, he who gathered much had nothing over, and he who gathered little had no lack; they gathered every man according to his eating. read more.

Notwithstanding they did not hearken to Moses, but some of them left of it until the morning, and it bred worms, and became foul, and Moses was angry with them. And they gathered it morning by morning, every man according to his eating. And when the sun grew hot, it melted. And it came to pass, that on the sixth day they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for each one. And all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses. And he said to them, This is that which LORD has spoken, Tomorrow is a solemn rest, a holy Sabbath to LORD. Bake that which ye will bake, and boil that which ye will boil, and all that remains over lay up for you to be kept until t And they laid it up till the morning, as Moses bade, and it did not become foul, neither was there any worm in it. And Moses said, Eat that today, for today is a Sabbath to LORD. Today ye shall not find it in the field. Six days ye shall gather it, but on the seventh day is the Sabbath, there shall be none in it. And it came to pass on the seventh day, that some of the people went out to gather, and they found none. And LORD said to Moses, How long do ye refuse to keep my commandments and my laws? See, because LORD has given you the Sabbath, therefore he gives you on the sixth day the bread of two days. Abide ye every man in his place. Let no man go out of his place on the seventh day. So the people rested on the seventh day. And the house of Israel called the name of it Manna. And it was like coriander seed, white, and the taste of it was like wafers with honey.
