you are to present to the Lord every firstborn male of the womb. All firstborn offspring of the livestock you own that are males will be the Lord's. Eat it within your gates; both the unclean person and the clean [may eat it], as though it were a gazelle or deer. But you must not eat its blood; pour it on the ground like water.

We will also bring the firstborn of our sons and our livestock, as prescribed by the law, and will bring the firstborn of our herds and flocks to the house of our God, to the priests who serve in our God’s house.
