And he set judges in the land throughout all the fortified cities of Judah, city by city, and said to the judges, Consider what ye do. Thou shall not follow a multitude to do evil, neither shall thou speak in a case to turn aside after a multitude to distort [justice], neither shall thou favor a poor man in his case.
Thou shall not distort the justice [due] to thy poor in his case. Keep thee far from a FALSE matter. And do not kill an innocent and righteous man, for I will not justify a wicked man. And thou shall take no bribe, for a bribe blinds those who have sight, and perverts the words of the righteous.
And I charged your judges at that time, saying, Hear between your brothers, and judge righteously between a man and his brother, and the sojourner who is with him. Ye shall not respect persons in judgment. Ye shall hear the small and the great alike. Ye shall not be afraid of the face of man, for the judgment is God's. If there be a controversy between men, and they come to judgment, and [they] judge them, then they shall justify the righteous, and condemn the iniquitous.

But LORD said to Samuel, Do not look on his countenance, or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For [LORD sees] not as man sees, for man looks on the outward appearance, but LORD looks on the heart.
Judge not according to appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
Thou shall not distort justice. Thou shall not respect persons, neither shall thou take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise, and perverts the words of the righteous.
Thou shall not follow a multitude to do evil, neither shall thou speak in a case to turn aside after a multitude to distort [justice], neither shall thou favor a poor man in his case.
Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment. Thou shall not respect the person of the poor man, nor honor the person of the mighty man, but thou shall judge thy neighbor in righteousness.

To respect the person of a wicked man is not good, [nor] to turn aside a righteous man in judgment.
These also are from the wise: To have respect of persons in judgment is not good.
