Now when Moses went into the Tent of Meeting (tabernacle) to speak with the Lord, he heard the voice speaking to him from above the mercy seat (the gold cover) that was on the ark of the Testimony from between the two cherubim; and He spoke [by special revelation] to him.
There I will meet with you; from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim which are on the ark of the Testimony, I will speak [intimately] with you regarding every commandment that I will give you for the Israelites.

And make the altar of acacia wood, five cubits square and three cubits high [within reach of all]. Make horns for it on its four corners; they shall be of one piece with it, and you shall overlay it with bronze. You shall make pots to take away its ashes, and shovels, basins, forks, and firepans; make all its utensils of bronze. read more.
Also make for it a grate, a network of bronze; and on the net you shall make four bronze rings at its four corners. Six branches shall come out of the sides of it; three branches of the lampstand out of the one side and three branches out of its other side; Three cups made like almond blossoms, each with a knob and a flower on one branch, and three cups made like almond blossoms on the other branch with a knob and a flower; so for the six branches coming out of the lampstand; And on the [center shaft] itself you shall [make] four cups like almond blossoms with their knobs and their flowers. And see to it that you copy [exactly] their pattern which was shown you on the mountain.

All the tabernacle’s utensils and instruments used in all its service, and all its stakes, and all the stakes for the court, shall be of bronze.
Bezalel made the burnt offering altar of acacia wood; its top was five cubits square and it was three cubits high. He made its horns on the four corners of it; the horns were of one piece with it, and he overlaid it with bronze. He made all the utensils and vessels of the altar, the pots, shovels, basins, forks or fleshhooks, and firepans; all its utensils and vessels he made of bronze. read more.
