Now this is what you shall offer on the altar: two one year old lambs each day, continuously. Offer one lamb in the morning and offer the other lamb at twilight. Make an offering of eight cups of flour mixed with one quart of virgin olive oil with the first lamb. Offer one quart of wine for a drink offering with the other lamb. read more.
You will offer the other lamb at twilight. Offer it with the same grain offering and the same drink offering as in the morning, for a soothing aroma, an offering by fire to Jehovah. It shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the doorway of the tent of meeting before Jehovah. That is where I will meet with you to speak to you.

Moses sent young men to burn sacrifices to Jehovah. They sacrificed some cattle as peace offerings. Moses took half of the blood of the animals and put it in bowls. The other half he threw against the altar. He took the book of the covenant, in which Jehovah's commandments were written, and read it aloud to the people. They said: We will obey Jehovah. We will do everything that he has commanded. read more.
Moses took the blood from the bowls and sprinkled it on the people. Next, he told them: With this blood Jehovah makes his agreement with you.

He placed the lamp stand in the tent of meeting opposite the table, on the south side of the tent. He set the lighted lamps in Jehovah's presence, following Jehovah's instructions. Moses put the gold altar in the tent of meeting in front of the canopy. read more.
He burned sweet incense on it, following Jehovah's instructions. Then he put up the screen at the entrance to the tent. He put the altar for burnt offerings at the entrance to the tabernacle of the tent of meeting. He sacrificed burnt offerings and grain offerings on it. Moses followed Jehovah's instructions.
