and through him to reconcile all things to himself, having made peace through the blood of his cross, through him whether things upon the earth or things in the heavens. And you, being formerly alienated and hostile in mind, in works, in things evil. But now he has reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblemished and unblameable before him.
And all things are from God who reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ, and who gave to us the ministry of reconciliation. How that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not imputing to them their trespasses, and having committed to us the word of reconciliation.
In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son, an atonement for our sins.
And he is the atonement for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the whole world.
For if, while being enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more having been reconciled we will be saved by his life. And not only so, but also taking pride in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.
