The LORD commanded the angel; and he put up his sword again into its sheath.
You sword of the LORD, "how long will it be before you be quiet? Put up yourself into your scabbard; rest, and be still."
and tell the land of Israel, 'Thus says the LORD: "Behold, I am against you, and will draw forth my sword out of its sheath, and will cut off from you the righteous and the wicked. Seeing then that I will cut off from you the righteous and the wicked, therefore shall my sword go forth out of its sheath against all flesh from the Negev to the north: and all flesh shall know that I, the LORD, have drawn forth my sword out of its sheath; it shall not return any more."'

I will scatter you among the nations, and I will draw out the sword after you: and your land will be a desolation, and your cities shall be a waste.
