Thus says the LORD, Go and get a potter's earthen flask, and take of the elders of the people, and of the elders of the priests;
Take great stones in your hand, and hide them in the clay in the brick pavement, which is at the entrance of Pharaoh's house in Tahpanhes, in the sight of the men of Judah;
And it shall be, when you have finished reading this book, that you shall bind a stone to it, and cast it into the midst of the Euphrates:
At the same time spoke the LORD by Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, Go and remove the sackcloth from off your body, and put off your shoes from your feet. And he did so, walking naked and barefoot. And the LORD said, Just as my servant Isaiah has walked naked and barefoot three years for a sign and wonder against Egypt and against Ethiopia; So shall the king of Assyria lead away the Egyptians prisoners, and the Ethiopians captives, young and old, naked and barefoot, even with their buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt.
