Paul, an apostle (not from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised Him from the dead),

But, when it pleased God, who set me apart from my mother's womb, and called me through His grace, to reveal His Son in me, that I might proclaim the good news of Him among the gentiles; straightway I conferred not with flesh and blood,

Only, as the Lord hath distributed to each one, as God hath called each one, so let him walk. And so I ordain in all the assemblies. Was any one called, having been circumcised? let him not become uncircumcised. Has any one been called in uncircumcision? let him not be circumcised. Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing; but the keeping of the commandments of God. read more.
Let each one abide in that calling in which he was called. Were you called, being a slave? care not for it; but, even if you can become free, use it rather.

And the God of peace Himself sanctify you wholly; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved entire, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is He Who calleth you, Who also will do it.

Simon Peter, a slave and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who obtained an equally precious faith with us, in the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ: grace to you, and peace be multiplied in a full knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord; since His divine power has given to us all things pertaining to life and godliness, through the full knowledge of Him Who called us through His glory and virtue;

Then, fourteen years later, I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking with me Titus also. And I went up according to revelation, and laid before them the Gospel which I preach among the Gentiles; but privately to those of repute, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain. But not even Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised; read more.
and that was because of the false brethren secretly introduced, who, indeed, crept in to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage; to whom not even for an hour did we yield in subjection, that the truth of the Gospel might continue with you. But from those reputed to be something (whatever they were, it matters not to me: God does not accept man's person): to me, in fact, those of repute added nothing; but, on the contrary, seeing that I had been entrusted with the Gospel of the uncircumcision, as Peter was with that of the circumcision; (for He Who wrought for Peter with regard to an apostleship of the circumcision, wrought for me also with regard to the gentiles). And, perceiving the grace which was given to me, James and Cephas and John, who were reputed to be pillars, gave to me and Barnabas right-hands of fellowship, that we should go to the gentiles, and they to the circumcision;

But, when it pleased God, who set me apart from my mother's womb, and called me through His grace, to reveal His Son in me, that I might proclaim the good news of Him among the gentiles; straightway I conferred not with flesh and blood, neither went I up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me, but I went away into Arabia, and again returned to Damascus. read more.
Then, after three years, I went up to Jerusalem to become acquainted with Cephas, and continued with him fifteen days. But other of the apostles I saw not, except James, the brother of the Lord. Now as to the things I am writing to you, behold, before God, I am not lying. After that I went into the regions of Syria and Cilicia; and I was unknown by face to the assemblies of Judaea, which were in Christ; but they were only hearing, "He who was once persecuting us now proclaims the faith which once he was destroying." And they were glorifying God in me.

And the Lord said to him, "Arise, go to the street that is called Straight, and inquire in the house of Judas for one named Saul of Tarsus; for, behold, he is praying; and in a vision he saw a man, Ananias by name, coming in, and laying his hands on him, that he might receive sight." And Ananias answered, "Lord, I heard from many concerning this man, how many evils he did to Thy saints in Jerusalem; read more.
and here he has authority from the high priests to bind all those calling on Thy name." But the Lord said to him, "Go your way; because this man is to Me a chosen vessel to bear My name before nations, and kings, and the sons of Israel;

Meanwhile as I was journeying to Damascus, with authority and a commission from the high priests, at midday, O King, I saw, in the way, a light from Heaven above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and those journeying with me. And, we all having fallen to the earth, I heard a voice saying to me in the Hebrew language, 'Saul! Saul! why are you persecuting Me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.' read more.
And I said, 'Who art Thou, Lord?' And the Lord said, 'I am Jesus, Whom you are persecuting. But arise, and stand upon your feet; for I appeared to you for this end, to appoint you a minister and a witness both of the things in which you saw Me, and of the things in which I will appear to you; delivering you from the people and the gentiles, to whom I send you, to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light, and from the dominion of Satan to God, that they may receive remission of sins, and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me.'

But I am speaking to you gentiles. Inasmuch, indeed, then, as I am an apostle of the gentiles, I glorify my ministry;

For ye heard of my conduct formerly in Judaism; that, beyond measure, I was persecuting the assembly of God, and laying it waste; and was making progress in Judaism above many companions of the same age in my own nation, being more exceedingly a zealot for my ancestral instructions. But, when it pleased God, who set me apart from my mother's womb, and called me through His grace, read more.

For this cause I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus in behalf of you gentiles, if, at least, ye heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you, that by revelation was made known to me the mystery, as I wrote before in brief; read more.
respecting which ye can, by reading, perceive my understanding in the mystery of Christ, which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men, as it was now revealed to His holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit; that the gentiles are fellow-heirs, and of the same body, and partners with us of the promise in Christ Jesus through the Gospel; of which I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God which was given to me according to the working of His power. To me, who am less than the least of all saints, was this grace given, to proclaim, to the gentiles, the glad tidings of the unsearchable riches of Christ;

but now made manifest, and through the prophetic Scriptures, according to the commandment of the eternal God, made known to all nations for obedience to the faith:

to reveal His Son in me, that I might proclaim the good news of Him among the gentiles; straightway I conferred not with flesh and blood,

And, when he saw the vision, straightway we sought to go forth into Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to proclaim the Good News to them.

Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God, to the saints who are in Ephesus, and the faithful in Christ Jesus:

Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God, and Timothy, the brother,

Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus,

Paul, a slave of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the full knowledge of the truth which is according to godliness,

For I am the least of the apostles, who am not fit to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the assembly of God.

but in His own seasons manifested His word in a proclamation with which I was entrusted according to the commandment of God our Savior;

And he said, 'The God of our fathers appointed you to know His will, and to see the Righteous One, and to hear a voice out of His mouth; because you shall be a witness for Him, to all men, of what you have seen, and heard. And now why do you delay? Arising, be immersed, and wash away your sins, calling on His name.' read more.
And it came to pass when I returned to Jerusalem, and while I was praying in the temple, that I came to be in a trance; and saw Him, saying to me, 'Make haste, and go forth quickly out of Jerusalem; because they will not receive your testimony concerning Me.' And I said, 'Lord, they themselves understand that I was imprisoning and beating, throughout the synagogues, those believing on Thee; and, when the blood of Stephen, Thy witness, was poured forth, I myself also was standing by, and approving, and guarding the garments of those who slew him. And He said to me, 'Depart, because I will send you far hence to the gentiles.'

Am I not free? Am I not an apostle? Have I not seen Jesus our Lord? Are ye not my work in the Lord? If to others I am not an apostle, yet to you at least I am; for the seal of my apostleship are ye in the Lord.

And, while they were ministering to the Lord, and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, "Separate now to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them." Then, having fasted and prayed, and having laid hands on them, they sent them away.

for so hath the Lord commanded us, 'I have set Thee for a Light of the gentiles, that Thou mayest be for salvation to the uttermost part of the earth.'" And the gentiles, having heard it, were rejoicing, and glorifying the word of God; and as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed.
