Gold » Used as money
With your wisdom and with your understanding you have made riches for yourselves, and have worked gold and silver into your treasuries.
They shall throw their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be an impure thing. Their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of Jehovah. They shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels; because their iniquity has become a stumbling-block for them.

And we have brought down other silver in our hands to buy food. We cannot tell who put our silver in our sacks.

Or how shall we clear ourselves? God has found out the iniquity of your servants. Behold, we are my lord's servants, both we and he also with whom the cup is found.
