This is the written genealogy of Adam. When God created man, he made him in the likeness of God.
Genesis 5:2 (show verse)
He created them male and female and blessed them. When they were created, he called them Mankind.
Genesis 5:3 (show verse)
When Adam had lived one hundred and thirty years, he had a son in his own likeness, in his own image; and he named him Seth.

After Seth was born, Adam lived eight hundred years and had other sons and daughters.

Altogether, Adam lived nine hundred and thirty years, and then he died.

Seth lived one hundred and five years when he became the father of Enosh.

Enoch walked with God. Then he was no more, because God took (moved) him away.

He named him Noah. He said: He will comfort us in the labor and painful toil of our hands caused by the ground Jehovah has cursed.

Lamech lived a total of seven hundred seventy-seven years, and then he died.

After Noah was five hundred years old, he became the father of Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
