As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of Jehovah. And when I saw, I fell on my face, and I heard a voice of one that spoke.

And I saw another strong angel coming down out of the heaven, clothed with a cloud, and the rainbow upon his head, and his countenance as the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire,

He, Jehovah, is our God; his judgments are in all the earth. He is ever mindful of his covenant, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations, --

Great are the works of Jehovah; sought out of all that delight in them. His work is majesty and splendour, and his righteousness abideth for ever. He hath made his wonders to be remembered: Jehovah is gracious and merciful. read more.
He hath given meat unto them that fear him; he is ever mindful of his covenant. He hath shewn his people the power of his works, to give them the heritage of the nations. The works of his hands are truth and judgment; all his precepts are faithful: Maintained for ever and ever, done in truth and uprightness. He sent deliverance unto his people; he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and terrible is his name.


And Noah built an altar to Jehovah; and took of every clean animal, and of all clean fowl, and offered up burnt-offerings on the altar. And Jehovah smelled the sweet odour. And Jehovah said in his heart, I will no more henceforth curse the ground on account of Man, for the thought of Man's heart is evil from his youth; and I will no more smite every living thing, as I have done. Henceforth, all the days of the earth, seed time and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night, shall not cease.

And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them, Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth. And let the fear of you and the dread of you be upon every animal of the earth, and upon all fowl of the heavens: upon all that moveth on the ground; and upon all the fishes of the sea: into your hand are they delivered. Every moving thing that liveth shall be food for you: as the green herb I give you everything. read more.
Only, the flesh with its life, its blood, ye shall not eat. And indeed your blood, the blood of your lives, will I require: at the hand of every animal will I require it, and at the hand of Man, at the hand of each the blood of his brother, will I require the life of Man. And he confirmed it unto Jacob for a statute, unto Israel for an everlasting covenant,

For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my loving-kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall my covenant of peace be removed, saith Jehovah, that hath mercy on thee.

For I, Jehovah, love judgment, I hate robbery with wrong; and I will give their recompence in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.
