Look at the birds in the sky. They don't plant or harvest or gather food into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. You are more valuable than they are, aren't you?

You covered the primeval ocean like a garment; the water stood above the mountains. They flee at your rebuke; they rush away at the sound of your thunders. Mountains rise up and valleys sink to the place you have ordained for them. You have set a boundary they cannot cross; they will never again cover the earth. He causes springs to gush forth into rivers that flow between the mountains. They give water for animals of the field to drink; the wild donkeys quench their thirst. Birds of the sky live beside them and chirp a song among the foliage.

because life is more than food, and the body more than clothing. Consider the crows. They don't plant or harvest, they don't even have a storeroom or barn, yet God feeds them. How much more valuable are you than birds!
