For she sits at the door of her house, on a seat in the high places of the city, To call those who pass by who go right on their ways: Whosoever is simple, let him turn in here: and as for him that lacks understanding, she says to him, read more.
Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that Tyre shall be forgotten seventy years, according to the days of one king: after the end of seventy years it shall happen to Tyre as in the song of a harlot. Take an harp, go about the city, you harlot that has been forgotten; make sweet melody, sing many songs, that you may be remembered.

And the city shall be accursed, even it, and all that are therein, to the LORD: only Rahab the harlot shall live, she and all that are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent.

And the king of Jericho sent unto Rahab, saying, Bring forth the men that are come to you, who are entered into your house: for they are come to search out all the country. And the woman took the two men, and hid them, and said thus, There came men unto me, but I know not from where they were: And it came to pass about the time of shutting of the gate, when it was dark, that the men went out: where the men went I know not: pursue after them quickly; for you shall overtake them. read more.

To deliver you from the immoral woman, even from the seductress who flatters with her words;

(She is loud and stubborn; her feet abide not in her house: Now is she outside, now in the streets, and lies in wait at every corner.) So she caught him, and kissed him, and with an impudent face said unto him, read more.
I have peace offerings with me; this day have I paid my vows. Therefore came I forth to meet you, diligently to seek your face, and I have found you. I have decked my bed with coverings of tapestry, with colored spreads, with fine linen of Egypt. I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon. Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning: let us delight ourselves with love. For my husband is not at home, he has gone on a long journey: He has taken a bag of money with him, and will come home at the day appointed. With her enticing speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she seduced him. He goes after her immediately, as an ox goes to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks; Till an arrow strikes through his liver; as a bird hastens to the snare, and knows not that it is for his life. Hearken unto me now therefore, O you children, and attend to the words of my mouth. Let not your heart turn aside to her ways, go not astray in her paths. For she has cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her. Her house is the way to sheol, going down to the chambers of death.

A foolish woman is boisterous: she is simple, and knows nothing. For she sits at the door of her house, on a seat in the high places of the city, To call those who pass by who go right on their ways: read more.
Whosoever is simple, let him turn in here: and as for him that lacks understanding, she says to him, Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant. But he knows not that the dead are there; and that her guests are in the depths of the grave.

Let not your heart turn aside to her ways, go not astray in her paths. For she has cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her. Her house is the way to sheol, going down to the chambers of death.

For the lips of an immoral woman drop as a honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil: But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword. Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on sheol. read more.
Lest you should ponder the path of life, her ways are unstable, that you can not know them. Hear me now therefore, O you children, and depart not from the words of my mouth. Remove your way far from her, and come not near the door of her house: Lest you give your honor unto others, and your years unto the merciless: Lest strangers be filled with your wealth; and your labors go to the house of a foreigner; And you mourn at the last, when your flesh and your body are consumed, And say, How have I hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof; And have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined my ear to them that instructed me! I was almost in utter ruin in the midst of the congregation and assembly. Drink waters out of your own cistern, and running waters out of your own well. Should your fountains be dispersed abroad, and rivers of waters in the streets? Let them be only for your own, and not for strangers with you. Let your fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of your youth. Let her be as the loving deer and graceful doe; let her breasts satisfy you at all times; and be ravished always with her love. And why will you, my son, be infatuated with an immoral woman, and embrace the bosom of a seductress?

You shall not bring the wages of a harlot, or the price of a dog, into the house of the LORD your God for any vow: for even both of these are an abomination unto the LORD your God.
