Hebrews 10:1 (show verse)

For since the law has only a shadow of the good things to come and not the true form of these realities, it can never, by the same sacrifices which are continually offered year after year, make perfect those who draw near.

Hebrews 10:2 (show verse)

Otherwise, would they not have ceased to be offered? If the worshipers had once been cleansed, they would no longer have any consciousness of sins.

Hebrews 10:3 (show verse)

But in these sacrifices there is a reminder of sins year after year.

Then I said, 'Behold, I have come to do your will, O God,' as it is written of me in the roll of the book."

Hebrews 10:8 (show verse)

When he said above, "You did not desire, nor did you take pleasure in sacrifices and offerings and burnt offerings and sin offerings" (these are offered according to the law),

And the Holy Spirit also bears witness to us; for after saying,

by a new and living way which he opened for us through the curtain, that is, his flesh,

Hebrews 10:21 (show verse)

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful;

and let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works,

Hebrews 10:25 (show verse)

not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more, as you see the Day drawing near.

Hebrews 10:26 (show verse)

For if we sin deliberately after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,

but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire which will consume the adversaries.

Anyone who has rejected the law of Moses dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.

sometimes being publicly exposed to insult and persecution; and at other times standing side by side with those who were so treated.

Hebrews 10:34 (show verse)

Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward.
