Jehovah said to me: Go again and love a woman beloved by her friend. Love an adulteress, even as Jehovah loves the children of Israel. Though they turn to other gods, and love cakes of raisins for feasts.

So I bought her for fifteen pieces of silver, and a homer of barley, and a half-homer of barley.

I said to her: You will live with me many days. You must not play the harlot (commit fornication) and you must not be any man's wife. I will also be with you.

For the children of Israel will live many days without king, without prince, without sacrifice, without pillar, and without ephod or teraphim.

Afterward the children of Israel will return and seek Jehovah their God. David their king will come with trembling to Jehovah and to his goodness in the last days.
