They return at evening: they make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city.

As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings:

Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, and maketh us wiser than the fowls of heaven?

Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.

The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer; The conies are but a feeble folk, yet make they their houses in the rocks; The locusts have no king, yet go they forth all of them by bands; read more.

Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird.
