Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases. And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick. And he said to them, Take nothing for your journey, neither staffs, nor bag, neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats apiece. read more.
And into whatever house ye enter, there abide, and thence depart. And whoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them. And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing every where.

And he marveled because of their unbelief. And he went around the villages teaching. And he calleth to him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits; And commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, save a staff only; no bag, no bread, no money in their purse: read more.
But be shod with sandals; and not put on two coats. And he said to them, In whatever place ye enter into a house, there abide till ye depart from that place. And whoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence shake off the dust under your feet, for a testimony against them. Verily I say to you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment, than for that city. And they went out and preached that men should repent. And they cast out many demons, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them.
