And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon's house. And the mother of Simon's wife was taken with a violent fever; and they besought him for her. And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered to them.
And when Jesus had come into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother laid, and sick with a fever. And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered to them.
But the mother of Simon's wife lay sick with a fever; and forthwith they tell him of her. And he came and took her by the hand, and lifted her up; and immediately the fever left her, and she ministered to them.

And after six days, Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them upon a high mountain apart.
And after six days, Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up upon a high mountain apart by themselves; and he was transfigured before them.
And it came to pass, about eight days after these sayings, he took Peter, and John, and James, and went up upon a mountain to pray.

And so was also James and John the sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, Fear not: from henceforth thou shalt catch men.
After these things Jesus showed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias: and in this manner did he show himself. There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two others of his disciples. Simon Peter saith to them, I go a fishing. They say to him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a boat immediately; and that night they caught nothing. read more.
But when the morning had now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus. Then Jesus saith to them, Children, have ye any victuals? They answered him, No. And he said to them, Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes. Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith to Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt on his fisher's coat, (for he was naked) and cast himself into the sea.

And he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James.
And when he came into the house, he suffered no man to go in, save Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden.
