{A Psalm of Asaph.} Truly God is good to Israel, to such as are of a pure heart.












If therefore one shall have purified himself from these, in separating himself from them, he shall be a vessel to honour, sanctified, serviceable to the Master, prepared for every good work.



Wash thy heart, Jerusalem, from wickedness, that thou mayest be saved. How long shall thy vain thoughts lodge within thee?





After these things Jesus finds him in the temple, and said to him, Behold, thou art become well: sin no more, that something worse do not happen to thee.

And she said, No one, sir. And Jesus said to her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.


Awake up righteously, and sin not; for some are ignorant of God: I speak to you as a matter of shame.


Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men: avoid it, pass not by it; turn from it, and pass away.







The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that taketh heed to his way keepeth his soul.

the Holy Spirit shewing this, that the way of the holy of holies has not yet been made manifest while as yet the first tabernacle has its standing; the which is an image for the present time, according to which both gifts and sacrifices, unable to perfect as to conscience him that worshipped, are offered, consisting only of meats and drinks and divers washings, ordinances of flesh, imposed until the time of setting things right.

O Israel, return unto Jehovah thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity. Take with you words, and turn to Jehovah; say unto him, Forgive all iniquity, and receive us graciously; so will we render the calves of our lips.
