Then come, shall the LORD say, and we shall be even; if your sins were as scarlet, they shall be made as white as snow; if they were red like crimson, they shall become as wool. If ye are willing and hearken, ye shall eat the good of the land; But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword; for the mouth of the LORD has spoken it.



Thou shalt keep, therefore, his statutes and his commandments which I command thee this day that it may go well with thee and with thy sons after thee and that thou may prolong thy days upon the land which the LORD thy God gives thee, for ever.




But if thou shalt indeed hear his voice and do all that I speak, then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies and an adversary unto those that afflict thee.

The blessing if ye hear the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day,

And it shall be, if thou wilt hearken unto all that I command thee and wilt walk in my ways and do that which is right in my sight, keeping my statutes and my commandments, as David, my slave, did, that I will be with thee and build thee a sure house, as I built for David, and will give Israel unto thee.

But this thing I commanded them, saying, Hear my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the way that I have commanded you that it may be well unto you.



As soon as they heard of me, they obeyed me: the sons of strangers submitted themselves unto me even against their will.

Cause me to remember; let us enter into judgment together; declare, thou, that it may be put to thy account.

If peradventure the house of Judah will hear all the evil which I purpose to do unto them; that they may turn each one from his evil way; and I will forgive their iniquity and their sin.

O that there were such a heart in them that they would fear me and keep all my commandments always that it might be well with them and with their children for ever!

if peradventure their prayer will fall into the presence of the LORD, and they shall turn each one from his evil way; for great is the anger and the fury that the LORD has pronounced against this people.

Then the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? If thou doest good, it shall certainly be accepted; and if thou doest not good, sin lies at the door. And his desire shall be unto thee, but thou must rule over him. And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not, Am I my brother's keeper? And he said, What hast thou done? The voice of thy brother's blood cries unto me from the ground.



Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauty of holiness; as the dew which falls from the womb of the morning, thus shall those who are thine be born unto thee.

Praise ye the LORD for the avenging of Israel, when the people willingly offered themselves.


For to their power, I bear record, and even beyond their power they were willing of themselves,

And they answered, We will willingly give them. And they spread a garment, and each one cast therein the earrings of his prey.

And the people blessed all the men that willingly offered themselves to dwell at Jerusalem.
